LDS Technology Limited was formed as a computer maintenance company in 1990, and by 1994 with the converging technologies of telephone and computing it was a natural progression into the role of Internet Service Provider. With this, Dorset Internet was created.
Dorset Internet was the first Internet Service Provider in Dorset, and with its continued growth in
this area is still the largest.  The company primarily deals with business users, not just from small to medium size companies, but also large corporations.
With over 17 years of trading, the company's wide variety of services and level of experience have grown especially with the birth of new technologies. These services range from ‘Up to’ 8Mb broadband, PC and Server builds, structured networking solutions along with VPN solutions, and website hosting to name but a few. These are not only offered to the Business sector but also to the Education sector.
